Meet Terri Erickson

Terri Erickson is an AKC Registered Handler with more than 35 years of experience breeding, conditioning, exhibiting, and presenting dogs. Her career began with Siberian Huskies and later expanded to Whippets, giving her an extensive background in evaluating breed type, structure, movement, temperament, and proper show-ring presentation.

Throughout her career, Terri has bred and handled dogs to many prestigious accomplishments, Multiple Reserve Best in Show, and Multiple Specialty Best in Show wins. She has also helped numerous dogs earn their AKC championships and additional titles.

Terri believes every dog deserves individualized care and presentation. She takes the time to understand each dog’s personality, determine what helps it perform confidently, and present its best qualities in the ring. The dogs in her care receive thoughtful conditioning, careful grooming, quality nutrition, and personal attention both at home and while traveling.

In addition to handling, Terri has judged Junior Showmanship and serves as the Juniors Coordinator for the American Whippet Club. Her judging experience includes the Siberian Husky Club of America National Specialty Sweepstakes, the American Brittany National Top 20 as the Handler Judge, and other Sweepstakes assignments.

Whether she is presenting an established special, finishing a championship, developing a promising young dog, or helping a new exhibitor, Terri brings experience, professionalism, honesty, and a genuine love of dogs to every assignment.
