About Paragon

Paragon is built on more than 35 years of dedication to breeding, exhibiting, and caring for exceptional dogs.

My journey began with Siberian Huskies, a breed that taught me the importance of sound structure, effortless movement, correct breed type, and a dependable temperament. Over the years, I was privileged to breed and exhibit Multiple Best in Show–winning Siberian Huskies. I also had the honor of judging Sweepstakes at the Siberian Husky Club of America National Specialty.

That experience created the foundation for Paragon Whippets. The qualities I valued in Siberians—athleticism, balance, beauty, intelligence, and companionship—continue to guide my breeding program today.

I will always be grateful to Lori Wilson-Paust for giving me the very best start in Whippets. We first met when she was showing Chanel, a beautiful Whippet who captured my attention and helped deepen my appreciation for the breed. Before Chanel, another special favorite was Jeep. Lori’s friendship, knowledge, and guidance have been an important part of my journey, and I sincerely thank her for helping to establish the foundation upon which Paragon Whippets has been built.

Our four most recent litters have continued the celebrated Starline legacy. A very special thank-you goes to Lori Lawrence of Starline Whippets for allowing me to use the legendary CH Starline’s Reign On ROMXX JC and GCHB Starline’s Trendsetter, and for the opportunity to co-breed four beautiful litters together. Her generosity, knowledge, and confidence in our breeding program have made an invaluable contribution to the future of Paragon Whippets.

Paragon Whippets is dedicated to producing healthy, beautifully constructed Whippets with outstanding temperaments. Each breeding is carefully planned with attention to health, pedigree, structure, movement, and the preservation of correct Whippet type. Our dogs have enjoyed success at the highest levels of competition, including Multiple Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show, and Specialty Best in Show honors.

Beyond the show ring, our dogs are cherished members of our family. Puppies are raised with thoughtful socialization, quality veterinary care, and a strong foundation to help them become confident and loving companions.

Whether destined for the show ring, performance events, or a devoted family home, every Paragon Whippet carries forward a tradition of excellence established many years ago with our Siberian Huskies and strengthened through the treasured friendships and partnerships we have formed along the way.
